FROM YOUR FRIENDLY LIBRARIAN: In honor of Black History Month, the library is focusing on Black authors, poets, black history and personal stories.  They are located on the wire rack in the center of the library.  There are some old books you may not have seen before, some might be your old favorites.  There are some brand new books as well.  If you're looking for something in particular, please stop by and ask.

ATHLETICS: Shout out and good luck to the girls varsity and JV basketball teams as they travel this Saturday to VASJ to battle the Lady Vikings.  The JV game begins at 1:00 with the varsity to follow.  Monday night is Senior Night, where the Lady Ironmen take on Warren JFK.  Good luck girls and CONGRATS to Seniors Daeja Holeman and I'Leah Gatson.
Don’t forget to buy your pre-sale tickets for tonight’s boys’ basketball game against the Garfield Heights Bulldogs.  This game is likely to sell out as it and over 500 tickets have been sold already.  It is also Senior Night so let’s send the seniors off with lots of fans in the audience.  Tickets are $2 in advance for students and senior citizens with ID and $5 for adults.  This is also notification that the doors to the Social Center will not open until 4:00 PM and EVERYONE must have a ticket including to the freshmen game.
