BIRTHDAYS: We have two members of our Cleveland Central Catholic family celebrating a Birthday today!  When you see junior, Chloe Lamparyk or freshman, Marion McKenney in the halls today, make sure you wish them each a Happy Birthday.

ATHLETICS: Well Central Catholic, this last Saturday the Boy's and Girl's track teams definitely gave us all reason to stick our chest out in pride to be an Ironman! Here's why. The girl's started it off by earning 4th and 7th place in the 4 by 100 and 4 by 200 relay races, this was their best performance thus far...So when you see Sahira, Donteja, Rhayna, Tationna and Kitonna in the hallways, show them some love for working hard to improve in order to represent CCC well.
Then, after the girl's best performance to date, David Lee and KwaJohn McGlothin earned 2nd and 4th place in the 100 meter dash, and earned 1st and 3rd place in the 200 meter dash. Then David and KwaJohn placed 2nd in both the 4 by 100 and 4 by 200 meter relays with the help of Binns and Smitty...and finally, after Saturday's performance David Lee ran the fastest time in the state this year in the 200 Meter dash.
Special thanks to Sister Seton for coming out to support us.

NATIONAL POETRY MONTH: We haven't done this in a while.  Here is a little poem to brighten your day as we celebrate National Poetry Month. Here is our first, dedicated to all the allergy sufferers out there.

It doesn't breathe, it doesn't smell
It doesn't feel so very well.
I'm disgusted with my nose,
the only thing it does is blows.
I hope it makes you smile.
