• Are you having trouble in a certain subject area?  Can't seem to get your homework done?  Just want a quiet place to study?  The National Honor Society will hold its tutoring sessions on Tuesdays and      Thursdays from 3:00 PM-4:00 PM in Room 202.  That includes TODAY.
• There will be NHS members and several teachers available to provide help in different subject areas, especially in math and science.  Come get your academic train back on the track!

ACT: This is a reminder to any student that is taking the ACTs here at Central on Saturday that you MUST have your admissions ticket printed before the test.  You will not be able to come into the school to print it.  In addition, you need a PHOTO ID in order to test.  That ID can be either a school ID or an ID issued by the State of Ohio.  If you do not have these items, you will not test.  No exceptions will be made.  The doors open at 8:00 AM and close at 8:30 AM.  Be on time!  Good luck!

ART STUDENT OF THE MONTH: The artist of the month for October is Jayrelis Capeles. She has shown exemplary work in Art 1 with Mrs. Meyer. She goes above and beyond to challenge herself and make her artwork beautiful. She is a wonderful student and classmate. Her artwork in on display in one of the frames in the art hall. Please Congratulate her on a job well done.

ART CLUB:  Art Club will be meeting in the art rooms after school today (Thursday) until 3:45. If you are at all interested please be sure to attend as we will be choosing officers.

GUIDANCE: Attention seniors:  On November 8th, John Carroll University will host 12 interested CCC Seniors for a Campus Tour.   Attendees must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0, a clean disciplinary record with CCC, have taken (or be registered to take) the ACT, and be seriously interested in attending John Carroll University.  Sign up is through the college visit list on your Naviance page and will close Thursday, November 2nd at 3:00 PM.

• This is just a friendly reminder that there is no cheer practice today.
• Tryouts for all girls interested in playing basketball will be this Friday at 3:00 PM.  This includes all of you ninth graders that are interested in playing as well.  If you have any questions please see Coach Murphy.
• This is reminder that Saturday’s League Championship football game will be played at 2:00 PM and NOT the normal time of 1:00 PM due to ACT Testing.  This is also Senior Day for our football players and cheerleaders.  Make sure to come out and support them.

BIRTHDAYS: We have one student member of our Cleveland Central Catholic family celebrating a birthday today.  When you see freshmen: Christopher Brown in the hallways today, make sure that you wish them a Happy Birthday!   If you are celebrating your birthday today, we wish you a happy birthday too!
