WEDNESDAY MARCH 26, 2014

SENATE MEMBERS: There will be a meeting after school today at 3:00 p.m. in room 10. Please do not be late. The meeting will only be about 25 minutes. See Mrs. Kraly or Mr. Eatman with any issues.

GUIDANCE INFORMATION:

• Attention freshmen through juniors: The Cleveland Botanical Gardens has PAID summer jobs but you must apply by this Friday. Students will be working outdoors on an organic farm and eating tons of good veggies. Please come to the Guidance Office for more information and the application form.

MONDAY MARCH 24, 2014

GUIDANCE INFORMATION:   • Students interested in taking college courses while in high school must pick up an "Intent to Participate" form in the Guidance office which must be signed by a parent or guardian and returned by THIS Thursday. Qualifying sophomores and juniors must have a minimum 3.0 G.P.A. A Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program (PSEOP) meeting will be held tomorrow (Tuesday, 3/25/14) at 3 p.m. The location will be announced.

ACADEMIC CHALLENGE: "Academic Challenge will be meeting on Tuesdays directly after school until 3:30pm. If you are interested please come join us in Mr. Bailey's room 107. Wrestlers cannot wait in room 107 on Tuesdays, please make other arrangements."

VIDEOGAME CLUB: The Videogame Club is holding a tournament on Tuesday! Sign up in Room 201 to compete in either Super Smash Brothers Brawl or NBA 2K14! It’s $2 per entry. See Ky-Ree Burton for details or stop in Room 201 by Monday 3:00 to sign up.

FILM APPRECIATION CLUB IS BACK!: Film Appreciation Club is showing the movie "The Blind Side" in room 200 after school at 3:00.

Congratulations to the CCC Cheerleaders for winning 3rd place in the state competition this past Sunday. They have worked really hard to achieve something no other cheer team has done in CCC history.... Congratulations ladies we did it! Go Ironmen.

Poland High School at Canton Civic Center. Tickets are on sale now. We have both reserved seats and general admission. All tickets are $6.00 Fan bus will also be available. Sign up in bookstore.

THURSDAY MARCH 6, 2014

BASKETBALL NEWS: Boys Basketball proved victorious last night with 57-49 victory over Tallmadge. They will play Saturday at 1:00 at Stow HS against the winner of tonight’s CVCA/Akron Hoban game. Tervell Beck led with 19 points and Antwon Lillard, Montell Mcrae and Desmond Crosby all scored in double figures.
